The Graduate Support Program (PROAP) is intended to provide better conditions for the training of human resources and for the production and deepening of knowledge in stricto sensu graduate courses maintained by public institutions. All academic PPG stricto sensu programs at UFOP and PROPPI receive, annually, an amount of resources from Capes for such purposes. The rules for the use of PROAP resources are regulated in Ordinance 156/2014.

PROPPI developed a manual of guidelines for use and accountability in relation to PROAP resources, established in PROPPI Ordinance XXX/2016. The contents of this manual must be known to all UFOP program coordinators and secretariats.
