Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Chamber

 

Objectives

The UFOP Postgraduate Chamber (CPG) is an advisory and advisory body to the Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies, responsible for the political guidelines of UFOP postgraduate studies, which is responsible for monitoring, guiding, supervising and reviewing , periodically, the activities of the Graduate Programs of this Institution.

The suggestions emanating from the CPG may result in opinions, information or proposals for a CEPE or CUNI Resolution.

The duties of the Postgraduate Chamber are:

a) to advise PROPPI on the creation of new Postgraduate Courses and/or Programs;

b) monitor the evaluations of the Graduate Programs carried out by CAPES;

c) suggest policies for better adaptation and improvement of postgraduate education;

d) suggest changes and new rules for the operation of Postgraduate Courses;

e) monitor the activities of the Graduate Programs; and

f) Suggesting a policy for the allocation of teaching places in the Graduate Programs

 

Regulation

The CPG is regulated by CEPE Resolution 3094/2007, which defines powers, etc. 

 

Calendar

CPG meetings are held on a quarterly basis. Specific dates are communicated in advance to each graduate coordinator and secretaries. The meetings already scheduled will be available for viewing on the PROPPI calendar.
